Pulling the rug out from under your feet!

Thanks so much for the suggestions about my urgh-chair. I do need to move on---and perhaps win the lottery while I'm at it. Vast cash reserves are always helpful when tackling projects, aren't they.  Baring a sudden influx of dollars, I shall fall back on my old stand-by of elbow grease.   Hopefully this weekend will yield a few hours to work on some of the "in progress" pile and I'll have something to pep me up next week.

In the meantime, I'm thinking about rugs.  I am sad? mortified? to report that the rug in the library right now is about 10 years old and came from some classy place like Garden Ridge.  Yeah.  I have quite a few rugs in mind for this space-- any favorites among these?

Courtney suggested this one (and she has a FABULOUS post up about fabric today--check it out!) I LIKE it!

And I like this one, too.

And who doesn't love this one?

Watch me chuck them all out and go safe with another bound seagrass rug.  Stay tuned-- and have a wonderful weekend!

West Elm's zigzag gets my vote. :) I can't wait to see what you choose though. I'm sure it will be fabulous!

The black and white would look neat with your "industrial" shelf look-a-like! (I love that piece by the way :)It would still have the "library" appeal, too... mod library.

All those geometric patterns will turn you cockeyed in short order. Something less stark will be better on your eyesight.
