Thinking about the boys room

My boys share a room--- a decision we made not out of space concerns, but more because we really wanted them to learn to get along in a shared space (so speaks the only child who never made it more than one semester with a roommate...).  Their bedroom is my September project (I'm getting smart about taking things on by the month, not the day or week!)  Here are some ideas I'm bouncing around:
This is the tone I want-- I love the soft grey, the simple furniture, and the statement of the oversized photograph.

A take on the benediction given at our wedding-- really, anything at all from Sugarboo would make me happy.

A beautiful grey on the walls-- like Litchfield Grey from Benjamin Moore

Due to the lucky happenstance an unfortunate incident involving my son, toilet training, naptime and beige carpet, I have the opportunity to paint the old hardwood floors.  See the pillow by Jack Nicholson's feet-- the striped one?  My inspiration.

This $5 thrifted bolt of shirting-- there are around 30 yards-- for duvets.

This shelf, painted orange.  For my orange-lovin' boy.

My sexy new lamps-- with the blue drum shades:

All on a shoestring-- I'm so eager to get going on this one.  I'll take some before shots so you can see how VERY dramatic this one is going to be!

Yay! I can't wait to see what you come up with. I like the soothing gray. Just right for 2 active boys. :)
